How to Import Products via Excel | Retail Core

00:00: This guide will walk you through importing product categories using an Excel file in the Retail Core. Follow the precise instructions below to efficiently complete the process and streamline your product management tasks. 00:13: On the dashboard of your Retail Core management suite click the tools tab 00:18: In the sub-menu click on the import/export tab. 00:21: In the next sub-menu click on the import documents tab. 00:24: Click '+' on the top right of the screen 00:27: Click on the select file tab to choose the file to import. 00:30: Click on Import object type and from the drop down menu scroll though the options using the arrows shown in RED to find Item Import. 00:37: Select item import from the drop down menu. 00:40: This field represents the lines in the excel which lists the first product. For example, in this Excel file, the first product appears in the second row. Therefore, the number "2" must be entered in the field. 00:52: Scroll down to Import data section and click the Plus icon highlighted on the visual in red. 00:58: This field represents the line in the excel which lists the first product. Select the column as it appears in the Excel file in the field. For example A 01:07: Fill in the Field name as it appears in the Excel file for each column.
